When the hell did this industry get so backwards!?.....someone announces a new 3D Mario game and people give it shit. GTA 5 is announced and the first thing out of people's mouths is "when is it released?" WTF?!
@V3rciS @HydePark1980 If you really believe that to be the real reason behind not developing the game on the Wii U that's fine. I've been gaming for a long time so I know when a developer is throwing out a Bullshit excuse for not developing for a system when I read it.
@V3rciS While I agree with everything that you are saying, when it come to hardware there is no concrete evidence to prove that if the Wii U was much more powerful at launch the end result would not be the same.
@emptycow @HydePark1980 No video game console ever released was ever pushed to it's limits (regardless of the party developing the game) a mere two months after it's release. Nintendo may be "new to this HD thing" but I'm pretty sure given the competition and other tech out there they've done their research.
You say with gamers it's not all about power, but that's pretty hard swallow when someone announces a new console and the first thing out of gamer's mouths and is "When will it be released and what do the specs look like?"
@emptycow @HydePark1980 Nintendo will always have a fight ahead of them big or small.....but they have been doing this the longest and that gives them the advantage. Not to mention that they have a lot more to lose which means that they will fight even harder than the competition. Sony and MS answer and approach to most things is the same old tired tactic "BOOST THE POWER" a tactic that has proved to be ineffective time and time again.
This is some pretty solid news and speaks volumes of their dedication to this industry. The fact that Nintendo (A company that manufactures only video games and hardware for video games only) can keep up with Microsoft and Sony who have their hands in other things draws only one conclusion. That Pikachu loving company is pretty BADASS!!
@Meta-Gnostic @Flint247 A lot of people out there think Nintendo is holding the industry back or something.......but me I've been gaming for a long time now and I know better.
