i think people are leaning now more towards quick arcade style games, like something they would find on their phone, instead of a AAA release with full production values. tis sad tho, i was really enjoying how much progress stories in videogames were making, even going further than full motion pictures.
HyLeRo's forum posts
ha. i did enjoy how deep they got with max. most stories won't elaborate or expand and will just say "max is sad"
beat the game on inferno, got pretty good stuff. Though the paragon idea wouldve GREATLY helped before when my stats were lacking, my guy is pretty decent now so i dont really see the point of going thru 100 levels other than to farm.
is there anything else to look forward to? pvp or maybe a hardcore char but i dont trust bliz servers to tell me if my char died or not. i stopped playing a while back and i dont know what has been going on in the game community.
maybe in short memory sequences or mentioned in passing, but i've finished my time in rapture, im eager to see what this new adventure in the sky is all about.
if the game is fun to play, i could care less about the industry reaction. we all know yearly releases like call of duty and et cetera will always get more fanfare.
remember the days when developers released their products as-is and u didnt have to waste 5 bucks on something petty like a costume?
ignoring most posts since its just the typical bashing.
i think this might be a split franchise, like megaman and megaman x, just depends what capcom wants the developers to do.
btw, who cares about some all-stars thing? i know im not buying some dumb MUGEN-like compilation relying on mass name dropping to make a buck.
silent death is a trolling loser f*gg*t
resident evil did not die in 1999. with new technology, developers are able to expand on ways to tell the stories. if the metal gear series was still NES style to keep it classic, it would've never taken off and achieved the amount of success that it earned. this is why purists annoy me. the old games have already been made. if you only enjoy playing those, whip out the old console and stay in the past. to bash a game because it is too different from its predecessor is asinine. this is what's wrong with modern gaming, too many casual players want the same recycled garbage which makes COD and the likes reliable cash cows. oh, you'll complain and say the game was the same as the year before, but you'll still purchase the game and even the dlc.
its called progress people. if you didnt enjoy playing the game, thats fair, its ur opinion. but to knock the game down because it isn't like the 3-4 games made in the past is beyond retarded.
