Does anybody else out there have problems logging into the Wii Shop channel wirelessly? When it says I'm connecting, it often just sits there without me actually being able to access anything, and I have to actually disconnect the power supply from the back of the system to get back to the Wii main menu (once it just sat on the "connecting" screen for more than an hour, even). I'm able to get into the news, internet, forecast etc. no sweat, so it doesn't seem to be strictly a wireless problem... just the shop channel. Anyone else? Am I the oniy one? Any fixes or suggestions? Thanks!

It needs window'd or tabbed browsing.Viewtiful_Joker

Tabbed browsing would certainly be an improvement.

I don't recall the specifics, but I seem to remember some sort of an adapter you can purchase so you can connect directly rather than wirelessly... I think I even saw it in an accessories forum here on Gamespot, that may be a good place to start. There are USB jacks on the back of the system, so I'm guessing that's probably where you would connect. Good luck!

[QUOTE="Crisis_Eye"]Oh, I thought they were gunna use the DS's WiFi ability to connect to the Wii so you would be able to play DS games on the Wii. Sort of like the Gamecube could play GBA games. with the GBA player

That's what I had thought, too... I didn't think of it before, but obviously the wifi would negate the need for any sort of actual adapter.

Awww... that's a shame. Hopefully they'll make some sort of an adapter in the near future, sort of like they did with the Game Cube for the GBA. I would love to play some of my DS games on a full screen... of course, I suppose with the dual screens of the system, that might make for some awkward formatting to a standard TV. Oh well...

Hi! I remember before the Wii came out hearing about DS compatibility (being able to play DS games through the Wii, I'm guessing?) but haven't heard anything about it since. Can anybody out there lucky enough to have a system fill me in on any details at all, if there are any? It plays Game Cube games, too, doesn't it? I really want to get one soon, and am hoping I'll be able to play some of the games I already have for my other recent Nintendo systems, too. Thanks!
