HALO 3 will be the holder once it comes out, no doubt about that. But on the moment it Gears of War for sure. But the point it, I hate when people compare the games, just like the loser who made this thread. HALO is a sci-fi FPS game and Gears a sci-fi tactical TPS game.... Anyway, Halo 3 already passed the 4 milion pre-orders, and that's only in the US. Gears had around 3 milion worldwide.
