@monstachruck @Hershawitz But that's simply an assumption. I doubt Rockstar would go to something that hard for a slice of authenticity, but even if that case may be, it's still getting them off the streets and opening a possible avenue for them. Professionals will find work -- this isn't stopping the industry from hiring people with acting chops.
@monstachruck People with criminal backgrounds need jobs too. A lot of the time criminals go back to being a criminal because society is unwilling to let them back in. Voice actors need jobs, but not nearly as badly as a man fresh from prison. Whatever helps them stay off the streets and gives them a chance at getting back on the right track should always be seen as a positive thing.
@rice2555 @Hershawitz This isn't a PR stunt. He shared this on his personal Twitter because that's what people do. Blame Gamespot's journalism for making a note of it, not the guy sharing something with his followers on Twitter.
I'm confused by that rather awful Oreo analogy. So he's saying that this game's cover isn't representative of the product itself? I can understand the rather faulty and insulting idea that consumers/gamers are only attracted to shiny objects, but if you're going to follow through with it, at least represent the game properly. They could have made this cover Infinitely (hehe) better if they had added Elizabeth and the Songbird along with Booker and would achieve the same effect-- except this time have it actually represent the game.
That being said, it's just the box art. I don't understand why this is some on-going thing, especially since they went through the trouble of making it reversible.
