It's not a rip-off. Thought we had this clear already. Both DayZ and WarZ were in the making, but DayZ released more info and such about the game first. Leaving WarZ in a pickle after.

He's depressed because even though they are different games they are in the same genre and to see how people reacted to their game, he is afraid that all that work he put into the game will be for nothing if people just do the same thing to DayZ as to WarZ.

Realistically speaking, he's looking at WarZ as kind of like a model of what's in store for him. If WarZ lifts off and is a success, he is guessing the same will be for him, but if it's not he's worried it will be a flop.
