Hey truth be told I don't give a flip about consoles anymore, from the ludicrous Pricing and lack of games I actually enjoyed on PS4, to the 5 RRoD 360's I had last Generation, and the little white box that became a Bundle of badly implemented gimmicks and infuriating motion control B.S, it's no wonder I went with a PC this last generation. At least the Wii managed to keep my Roommate's and their 3 year old entertained, and the PS2 still chugged away with a better library of games than ANY of the current gen consoles. I'll spend 300-400 bucks every 2 years for a new GFX card or PC components, small price to pay for a machine that does EVERYTHING these consoles advertise as selling features that the PC has A. done them first, and B does them BETTER.

REALLY! I gotta say these folks gotta have some MONSTROUS cajones to think THIS is a stable Bill, the loose language towards it's applications and implications is simply ASTOUNDING! Do the people running our government think us so thick that we would EVER allow something like UTTER CONTROL of our largest information and entertainment Medium to date? Well folks, they got the Radio, The Newspapers, Broadcast AND Cable Television, and Even Movies and Videogames having Strict and unbending rules and regulations, Ever seen an ADULT 360 Game? Guess they really did think us so unintelligent, and I find that Insulting.

WOW all this doom and gloom, over a peripheral? sorry to say but that's a little overboard man, as was said Nintendo made BUCKETS of cash off of some of it's attempts at something different, but I would rather have a company that's trying and pioneering new ideas than stagnating and settling for what will make them money the safest. Human beings have tried and failed to calculate their way through the future for centuries, trying to do so in the gaming industry is just as if not more so impossible, stick to Physical, tangible, relevant information please, and save speculation or personal outlooks and opinions for personal Blog's and Facebook.

I just recalled a Historical situation that I feel sums up the Situation, if anyone is familiar with the Failure that was the Maginot Line in 1940 France, Antiquated tactics and strategies giving way to A Force of pure freakish Evil, who should you be more angry at? I'll bet the French weren't too pleased when they saw how little use their Tax's, and overpaid Strategists were in formulating that idea, but does that Make what Germany was doing all right? HELL NO! both sides are accountable for their actions and Failures right? The Problem here is the lack of Evidence to support an attacking Party, all there is at this point is Conjecture and insubstantial evidence, but Sony is trying to shrug the blame for a Faulty system at the same time, and trying to pull our Heartstrings at their plight, I understand if Sony is having problems at home and with it's workforce's Moral. That however does NOT excuse them from negligence in keeping the Private information of 77 MILLION subscribers PRIVATE or at LEAST showing they gave it their full efforts to prevent this from happening.

If the information taken is used maliciously or not has no basis on the simple fact that Sony dropped the ball here, and left a Security hole in their network big enough to qualify as the Autobahn of the internet. I could care less what happens with Sony, OR Xbox and M$, I cared more about a possible political scare being cooked up as a Result of this and having a mass movement to limit and place Controls on the Net. If humanity has ANY intelligence left they will capitalize on this and force Corporations who want your Information to be held fully accountable for their Actions or Lack thereof.

while I don't like the actions undertaken by said hackers and would LOVE to see their faces run through a Pastrami Slicer (Anonymous having done it or not), the simple facts that Sony was overly Lax in protecting it's Consumer base's information is what will make the bigger headlines, THAT'S what I was worried about, for me this means that it won't be the Catalyst for Stronger net based security, aka the need for an Internet Killswitch, and other lovely such want's for Internet Censoring and security. But instead the remaining message will be, that Companies will have to take accountability for their actions in cutting corners and trying to play it Cheap when it comes to their want and need to hold YOUR private information, there is NO EXCUSE for this Violation that Sony can sweep away by pointing fingers or plying for Sympathy utilizing the Pain of Thousands while the imagery is still fresh in our Minds.
