My girlfriend and I recently started playing this, and were having a lot of fun through the beginning when you play as Iron Main, Wolverine, Captain America & Spider-Man. At this point in the game it seemed like the money (or power points I think it's called) seemed to be distributed pretty fairly and by the end of that part we had about the same amount of money to spend between the both of us.

Before the start of the next mission we both spent our money on abilties for our characters and after that things seemed to start getting a little unfair.

Once we started our next mission where we got to select our characters most of the money seemed to automatically go to my character and very rarely would it go to hers. She would destroy a box or kill an enemy and I would be on the other side of the screen and the money would still seem to float to me 80% of the time. This has made her stop wanting to play, which upsets me because we were having a lot of fun. Is there something that can be done to make sure money is evenly distributed to both teammates? It is pretty unfair for the other person that is killing stuff and breaking items and all the work they are doing to drop the money is going to the other player for no reason.

Anyone else experienced this?

So my girlfriend and I have been playing through the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance and have made it to the Shi'ar Empire (Act 4). We progressed through the level fine as we were supposed to and we got to the part where the soldiers open up the gravity portal and you have to turn off the console, afterwards you go into some corrisponding corridors and turn off the force field. After that the guy who you were escorting or whatever departs, and this is where the problem begins. I looked on gamefaqs and apparently after he departs 2 guards spawn with orange arrows over their head that hold a keycard, and you have to kill both of them... the thing is after he departed I never saw any guards spawn with any keycard or any monster with orange arrows or their head. We've explored the entire map dozens of times and have not encountered any other fights, the entire place is empty and there is no keycard anywhere to be found, so basically we can't progress from here. At the beginning of the level there is a console that has a green arrow above it, that would seem to indicate you could interact with it, but it doesn't let us. Does anyone remember this part, is there something really obvious that we're just missing?

Even if you don't remember the level itself, is there anyway to just start an act over completely from scratch? I've looked online everywhere, tried a bunch of stuff in game such as getting ourselves killed and then starting from checkpoint, which in turn just starts us back from the last save we made which doesn't help at all because we saved after the part we're having a problem with. I've tried starting a new game with saved statistics to see if I could extract from the first level to act 4... doesn't work because there is no extract option when you start a fresh game. I've looked all over our bases of operating to see if there was some console somewhere that let you choose missions... nothing.

Can anyone please help? We don't wanna start the game over, and we cannot progress from where we are at!

Thanks in advance for your help, and sorry for the very long post.

I'm a proud owner of an Xbox360 and have really enjoyed every game I have bought for it. And when I look into the future I can name atleast a dozen games that I'm looking forward to for the 360.

In the past I have owned most major consoles, with the exception of the SNES, and the Sega Saturn. But this generation I told myself I was just going to stick with my 360 since it seemed to have everything I wanted, and the games I wanted to play the most were coming out for it.

Well as the holiday season approaches, my gaming urges do to. With the pile of new highly anticipated games coming out for the holidays, I'm in a gaming frenzy. And any game Gamespot usually praises I'm out playing within the week. So last week as I was looking forward to all of the reviews for the new 360 games coming out, one non 360 game caught my eye... you guessed it 'Mario Galaxy'. As I watched the video review, looked over the screen shots, and watched the gameplay marathon, I wanted to have this game like crazy. And since then I've had a temptation to go buy a Wii.

Now my problem with buying a Wii, is I'm not too sure of the games that are going to come out in the future. I don't want to spend my money on this console for a couple games. Of course some good ones have come out, and if I were to buy a Wii today, I can honestly say that I would probably only pick up 3 titles. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (just because I'm a RE fan) I'm not a Metroid fan, so I would leave that game alone. So then I look into the future and wonder what's coming out, and really the only game that seemed like a really big title was Super Smash Bro's. I tried digging deeper than that, but couldn't find anything.

I'm not really into the mini-game type games, such as Wario Ware, or Trauma Center. So those are out of the question. I'm into games that you can really get into and that have a good story, or a solid franchise to back them up, such as Mario, or Zelda. So I'm wondering if the wonderful community here at Gamespot can help me out by giving me a few highly anticipated titles that maybe I looked over, or that I missed coming out for the Wii. And hopefully then I can decide if the purchase is worth it or not.
