I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm saying $199.99, mid-late October, with about 15-20 launch games. Try as I might, I cannot imagine Nintendo with a release date after Sony. Sony's the one who released their console in hopes of the big market sales during Thanksgiving and holiday shopping. So If Nintendo releases their console before Sony's, I'll imagine they'll take a chunk out of Sony's profits while allowing their console to be reviewed and considered by many. Then when other people (which is the crowd Nintendo's hoping for) find out about it and are interested they'll buy it during Thanksgiving weekend and the upcoming holiday shopping. But maybe that's not the case. I think of it as totally unpredictable right now. I've always thought of Nintendo as the Willy Wonka of the gaming industry.
This is nothing but a blatant advertising campaign. Though I'm surprised to find Microsoft also contributing to the growing popularity of un-gamer franchises.
