As a home theater box it's impeccable, and it's getting better with every update. As a gaming machine the lineup of exclusives is impressive, and more are on the way. Sony failed when it thought that it was unbeatable, and it rallied when everyone thought it couldn't be saved. In the end, competition is a great thing. Every gamer, no matter what their system of choice, should be happy that the PlayStation 3 has become a worthy contender. Sony will make Microsoft try harder, as both companies fight to have the best games with the best features. The gaming world is better with a PlayStation product in it, and Sony has proven that it's folly to underestimate its tenacity and power in the gaming space.
Gamespot posting this crap like if its such of a problem for ps3 users, how about gamespot posting the latest Intercooler for the 360, should go something like this "With out Intercooler 2000 it takes the 360 5 minutes to overheat" "With Intercooler 2000 it takes the 360 15 minutes to overheat" wow awsome performance intercooler 2000 FTW
I had a 360 before and loved it, used to play Ghost recon, which would freeze one in awhile, but not as bad as Dead Rising, which was guaranteed in less than 15 minutes, after than i gave up it so i switched from corn to rice, had it since Dec 2006 no proble till this day well not yet its gonna eventually give out but id rather go thru 1 or 2 than a dozen
Which ones one this games tops uncharted graphically, dont get me wrong they look good but they dont look as good as uncharted, which i might add only took up 30% of the ps3 power. Dont judge the ps3 on 3rd party games judge it on 1st party games thats were the system shines, The reviews States that MGS4 looks better than the first GeOW, (Dont know about GeOW2 yet but i'm pretty sure Killzone 2 will eat it up for super, well graphically atleast),
Playstation 3 for the win, its got the same multiplat games, its got an amazing 1st party exclusives (to many to list), more bang for you buck for 399.00 you get bluray, wifi, expandable hardrive not that "Official overpriced 120gb for 179.00) seriously for that amount you can upgrade your ps3 to a 320gb Western digital and STILL have money left over for a game. Sure ps3 missed out on a year of games, which was due only because Microsoft rushed machine cause it knew it couldnt compete if it came out the same time as the ps3, Big WOW i'll take a year less of games over the rushed hardware any time of the day open you eyes, i did first time my 360 crapped out on me, ask your self this after the 3 year warranty expires are you gonna buy the extended warranty along with the live subscription every year,
