oh man. how I wish dark souls 1 was 5 times longer. I dont care if it is a sequel, a prequel, a DLC, or a spiritual successor. as long as they keep releasing top quality content.

@Shadowdanc3r @GymFox @Gothic-360 those hidden walls are in game secrets, they are supposed to be hard to find lol. many games do this, maybe not all in the form of secret walls, but still are hard to find. that's not a flaw in any way.
besides, there are the players messages. i was able to find quite a few secrets myself thanks to those messages.

let me tell you a thing about the Souls games. every single boss is beatable. every single boss has weakness that when you notice it and exploit it becomes cake. sometimes you find it in a couple tries, sometimes it takes over fifty tries. that's why some people get frustrated, because they want to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. that strategy might work in other games, but not in dark souls bro. you have to learn the game, work for your progress.

this reviewer didnt even try to find the answers to his problems. I too played the game without guides, yes sometimes i found myself puzzled, but it's not hard at all to find what you have to do if you actually look for it in the game.

this guy is just too used to hand holding. everything you need to know is in the game, you just have to play it. this guy was just blindly killing mobs without giving a damn about doing some basic talking to NPCs and exploring a few stuff, no wonder why he found the game almost impossible.

if this 5 score was justified i wouldnt mind. but this guy just whines that he didnt know what to do next, or how to do certain things. did you actually try to play the game? other than just killing mobs? did you try talking to some NPCs from time to time? or actually explore the enviroments?

you dont have to be pro or elitist to beat dark souls, you just have to play the game. everything you need to know is there, somewhere. go ahead and at least try to find it.

people are so used that in RPGs NPCs have to have an exclamation mark just so you know they have something important to say. come on!

@AzatiS you can beat the game without walkthroughs perfectly. most RPGs and MMORPGs tell you exactly what you have to do, dark souls doesnt. that's what I love about this series, and thats what most people get frustrated at, it's not just that certain boss is hard. people quit because the game doesnt tell you what to do next, or how to do it.

I find it kinda sad, we are so used to games hold our hands the entire experience. here in dark souls you dont have to be pro or elitist to beat the game, you just have to actually play the game-- explore--talk to every NPC, stuff like that. it's not that hard
