I think people place higher standards on Kobe these days. He averaged great scoring and assists in the playoffs/finals. Even Jordan lost a few playoff games before getting to where he was. You gotta take out the personal feelings out of the equation and realize that Kobe is a phenomenal player. feryl06

Oh beleive me i know Kobe is a great player. His problem is he is not a great team and motivator player. The guys i mentioned Bird Magic and Jordon would always atleast try and pump up there players even the players that just flat out stank. These great could make a 2 left footed retard look good on the court. Especialy Magic.

I'm not taking anything away from Kobe as far as being a good player. That he cleary is. But LEGEND? NO!!! I do not see that happing. It's just something about Kobe that just does not feel right? IDNO he's just not a legend and i don't think he ever will be.

I'm a huge lakers fan always have been. But what Kobe did in this years finals showed me how below par he really is to say a Magic Or a Bird Or MJ.

Neither one of those guys would of went out like that. Even if they lost. They would not have such bad shooting percentages and just poor games in general throughout the entire Finals.

Kobe is all FLASH no substance. I hope i never EVER hear again him even mentioned in the same breath as Jordon. Kobe could not even wash MJ's jock strap. If not for Shaq! Kobe would have a big fat 0 rings.
