If it gets hacked and i can run homebrew on it then i might buy this for the video output, would be a nice way to put all my old games in 1 place, right now i sometimes just play them on my PSP or my PC, but what i would really want is it all in 1 place, because i can't be bothered with my old consoles anymore, the picture quality on a HDTV is just terrible, so this would be a nice way to keep my collection on 1 device. Ofcourse playing regular PSP games on a big screen might be pretty cool aswell. Btw yes i do know that technically running older games on a hacked PSP is illegal (although i'm not even 100% sure if it really is or not), but it's a pretty fine line, and considering i own a large amount of older games, i don't see why it would be wrong to put my whole collection on a PSP.

I don't see this version beating the NDS, but it is a nice updated version, which is also fair to the users, unlike the DS and DS Lite (the Lite's screen is just so much better, that you must feel ripped off if you bought the old DS) I don't see myself buying the new version (got the old 1), although i might if it can be hacked to run homebrew on it, i quite like the idea of just plugging your PSP and playing all those old classics (which i do own btw) on the big screen with a few simple clicks. And ofcourse playing it somewhere else whenever you want aswell. Some PSP games on a big screen would be pretty cool aswell. In the end i do think it will improve the sales, and it will definetly make it come closer to the NDS, because i think that because you can play games on the big screen will make it interesting for parents, they will only have to buy 1 gaming machine instead of 2.
I am going to stick with my Windows ME and Windows 2000.
Oh yeah, because that's such a excellent combo... Windows ME that pretty much always sucked, and Win2k that isn't very gamer friendly. Now don't get me wrong, i don't completely disagree with your opinion. I do believe should wait before getting a new Windows, but i'm talking about 6-12 months, not 5 years. If you're a smart user then WinXP works fine, i've been running it for like 3-4 years, and i installed it 3 times, each due to upgrades, and they were still working without any problems. I will be using Windows Vista, but i'm definetly waiting untill it's fairly safe. In the first couple of months the hackers always come out to find exploits, as soon as they are found, and Microsoft updated against them, then i'm switching, but not before.
