Well, I just read on the web that Devil Survivor 2 is getting it's own anime, and it will begin to air in April 2013. Anyone else excited about this besides me?
This game is unbelievably polished. The dream meld between Arc Systems and ATLUS that one could only dream about, has finally come true. Granted, there were netcode problems when the game first came out on the XBOX 360, but that was patched within 2 days of the release in the US. I like how this game also seems to have less of a learning curve than BlazBlue. Though admittedly, Score Attack is still a gigantic pain... but to make up for that, I have 280/390 challenges completed within 1 week after release.
I am also suffering from this bug. (=_=) It wouldnt be a problem if I was a higher level, but I have had this bug since I made my account so I cant sign up for unions or post pics or any of that fun stuff. Please try to find some time to fix this GameSpot.
I would personally like to see Minato Arisato from Persona 3 make an appearance in PlayStation All-Stars. The main character from Persona 4 (Yu Narukami) would've been nice, but he is going multi platform with Persona 4 Arena. Also, there is currently no indication for Minato to be in that fighter since it is canon to the rest of the series, so Minato is a PlayStation exclusive 3rd party character at the moment. Also, who doesn't want to see him shoot himself in the face to use a super move?
Well I did get news from the guy at the ATLUS forums and he said that both the JP & US version have duel audio and text. I hope thats true because I still see a lot of people yelling about that.
But if it is true then all I need to do is buy the JP version for 20 or so extra bucks an go into the options menu and change the language.

Heh, I knew that the US version had dual audio but I had no idea that the JP version did the same thing. I would probably be in your situation as well, but as I posted earlier, I stick mainly to the stateside for games. But, it is a shame for some of those few great games that are region locked to JP and others that are probably never going to see the light of day here in the US. (I'm looking at you, Ciel No Surge.) So, I wanna get a JP PS3, but with so much awesome games being released within the next year, I can't afford to drop money on a whim like I normally do. (=_=)
Unfortunately, yes. Persona 4 Arena is region locked. Apparently ATLUS says it is because of the price differences between yen and the good ol' U.S. dollar. So, people with American PS3's can only play America's version of the game and so on and so forth for anywhere else. I'm glad that I just stick with my home country for games and consoles so as to avoid this issue. But, I feel sorry for you and anyone else who gets screwed over with the region lock feature.
Idk if there is. May I ask are the skits voiced in this version of the game. Because I recently bought the ps2 version of the game again and there are no voices. I could have sworn there were last time I bought this game

Unfortunately, no. The skits in Tales of the Abyss are not voiced. If you want voiced skits, I would recommend Tales of Vesperia or Tales of Graces f. Also, there are no ways to rewatch skits at will. You have to go into New Game/ New Game+ and get to the same point where you were when you heard the skit before. So in other words, the only way to watch a skit is to play through the game normally.
