This is the exact reason why Schilling and his studio went under. You can't just throw money at making a game and expect people to buy into it. He didn't learn that lesson with amalur, and obviously not with how he wanted to do the MMO.

With developing you have to start small and build a gathering to get into the grander game size and studio size. Having over 200 people in a studio that is largely unproven was a mistake.

Well there are a couple of reasons it can succeed.

1: It's 99$ for the console and a controller, whereas to get a tablet built similarly is around 250.

2: It's built on the android platform. Devs could easily make a game that is built for both tablet/smartphones and ouya.

3: It's already got the attention of several developers small, medium and large.

Largely the problem i see is that it is rootable. Rootable always brings about piracy which may or may not be a big issue.

I can get if you don't like brawlers, but this game is far from boring. The games meat is in the multiplayer which has substance. Not only that but even the bots in the simulation mode (which you can play every multiplayer mode) is no slouch either. Let's say you love puzzle games. I don't find them top of the line exciting, some people do, more power to them.

Personally i love brawlers and am waiting my copy to come in.

@buccomatic Co-op was in the first one. Also the trailers especially this one have single player parts as well. I played borderlands 1 co-op and it didn't detract from the campaign. They are designed for both single player play and co-op, if it were meant for single player, there wouldn't be a co-op option.

They brought back the exploding grandma, that was always one of my favorite weapons. Ninja rope over my friends, drop the grandma, and rope out of there.

Yeah, you could clearly get away with hardcore mode on D2 because you didn't have the problems that D3 has. As it's been stated before, on hardcore you would have to stop at points where you checkpoint in town or a safe area, not only that but you have to hope out of the slim chance that you will never come across server lag or you could kiss your hardcore ass goodbye.

I find it funny how everyone says superman, but it was already determined that batman did in fact beat superman. I guess most of you aren't comics fans.
