Not much, I'll admit. It's an aside to an aside to an aside.
But if I'm forced to throw my 2 cents in, I'd have to agree with most of what muppet1010's been writing. The German navy was substantial, just incorrectly utilised. Hitler had most of them tucked away in well-protected harbours, which was pretty silly.
Had the Axis powers won, for whatever reason, they would have extended across the whole of Europe and Asia, and probably down to Australia too. Lord knows Africa wouldn't have stood for long, what with few standing armies and all of the German colonies there already.
That's four continents' worth of material and potential conscripts, which equals a well-equipped and manned army.
America would have been the biggest threat, and therefore be top of the list in terms of future invasions. It would have been a protracted war, but one that the States would probably lost in the end.
As for the nukes, I really can't say... Could have gone either way as far as I'm concerned.
Of course this is all conjecture, but so far everything already in this thread is too, so meh...

Yeah, if Germany could its the people in its newly acquired land (though it's doubtful) to fight for it, then I could see the US possibly losing that war. Maybe......
Btw, Germany didn't have any colonies in Africa. It took some from France and England in north Africa, and that's it. Africa didn't need to be under German control though, since Italy, Portugal, and Spain controlled chunks of it, and all were under dictatorships. The rest would've fallen.
