Yes, almost.
Europe almost sells as many copies as an entire region that's dedicated to the handheld.
Europe can't even beat the region where console games are in second place behind handheld games.

Doesnt matter. The European region is close to the Japanese market, atleast according to the Wii sales (SSBB is a Wii game) and therefore it would be idiotic to ignore such a huge market. Well what can you expect from Nintendo.
[QUOTE="GameOverKayo"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="Felmo_07"]Absolutely. I dont know what Nintendo is doing but its disgraceful to the Europeans and AustraliansJaysonguy
Huh?
So you think that it's more important that Nintendo dedicates resources and first releases to the weakest areas when it comes to gaming? Not give the strongest regions the games first since they're better to the company?
Nintendo was better off giving Wii Fit and Mario Kart to the weakest region so they could cultivate new users before dropping a game that is ONLY for Nintendo fans.
Smash Bros is fan service, so it makes more sense to get MORE fans before you release the game.
Here he came again, please just stop. There are a huge market in Europe/PAL and delaying a game this much sure is disgraceful to the Nintendo fans. Being the weakest region doesnt justify that Nintendo completely ignores a MAJOR title release.
No there's not a huge market, there's a very small market when you compare it against the two stronger regions.
North America is the leader but even Japan where their society has gone over to handhelds still beat out Europe so of course it makes sense to release games that will get a bigger base for Smash Bros.
Europe is not close to the other regions when it comes to sales.
Mario Kart Launch in Europe 556,030
Mario Kart launch in Japan 580,510
Mario Kart launch in North America 1,231,264
Lol your sales say otherwise. I see that its almost as big as the Japanese market. Massive failure much?
