was wondering if people still hate Rock Band Wii. Sure u cant play online but they are releasing 20 songs for 30 bucks to play on the Wii and PS2. I personally was fine with just playing the same old songs but this is a big plus for me. I was wondering if this has changed any of the minds of people who hated the Wii version of the game. Obviously if you have a 360 or a PS3 you wont be getting the game for wii but does it make it more appealing?

I plan on getting a 360 over the summer so I'll be getting it for that instead. I think Wii players for the most part will buy Rock Band, but I think they'll be a little upset knowing they're missing out on a lot of features. Also, the track pack disc is a nice way of making up for the lack of DLC, but it's going to be a pain having to switch discs.

I'm one of the few who only have the Wii... So I'll be getting Rock Band with or without online/DLC. I have a friends with an 360 and he never touches the online part of the game... besides DLC. BTW he has beaten every song on expert for all the instruments.

I just wanted the World Tour. I loved the customizable characters and such. Very cool idea. But I might get this sometime, now that they are implementing a way to add tracks. We'll see if I can come up with the money.

I'm getting Rock Band for the Wii.

I only have a Wii, and no interest in the other consoles at all. I can live without online play and I couldn't care less about playing dress up dolls. With the news that DLC will be available on discs for the Wii version, I'm perfectly happy now.

Well I'll get, since I too only have a Wii since my 360 died because of the red ring of death and my warranty died off. dont mind no online, but DLC from a Disc is fine with me. As long as im still playing.

DLC really doesn't affect my opinion that much, so I'll buy it maybe still. That's a lot of money so it's rather low on my list.

If someone gave it to me, I'd play it. But I'm not shelling out $120.

You'll think otherwise after you've had it for awhile and have played all the songs 100 times. I'd have been done with the PS3 version months ago, if I couldn't freshen up the song list weekly.

I was going to get GH3 before i heard that RB was coming out on the wii so im pretty excited to get an instrument based game. As for DLC and online play im really not that fussed as i just want to play the instruments for what they are worth.

The online aspect really doesn't affect me that much; Rock Band is mostly about having friends over to play with anyway, otherwise you'd essentially be wasting your money on the other instruments you have laying around. If you want online rockage for the Wii, just buy Guitar Hero :)

I plan on getting it. No online is a shame and I don't really care about CC and BWT. DLC on discs is fine for me so all I need is the cash and I'm getting it

i dont think so, guitar hero 1 is still fun to play as is guitar hero 2, and the songlist on those games has satyed the same through out all the years, plus the wii version is getting extra songs anyway,

and i dont see how swapping discs is a pain, you get off you lazy butt and swap the discs, but you must have a pretty nice lifef you think that swapping discs is a hrad job

So you can buy discs with songs on them, I dont really like that idea. $30 for only 3 or maybe 4 songs id like in a list isnt appealing in the least. id rather but the songs I actually want for $x each although we cant do that can we :(

no DLC

cheap PS2 port, which that version was incomplete

no online

GH3 controller can't be used

still expected to pay $170.

Does this sum it up?
