you arent expected to buy a second console. they made them since its cheaper to produce and can sell more units that way. they also run quieter (i think) and are a little more energy efficient. and from what ive heard, theyre more reliable. but theyre not BC and arent as "pretty". aka not a glossy finish. btw they cost 300 USDstarwarsjunkyDamn, maybe I should have waited for that model to come out. Oh well. I don't have any real regrets.

wouldnt you be if you were in a boss fight for that long, then suddenly just died (with all your HP still intact)?
Yes, I've been in some pretty long boss battles though. This sounds like a real FF game after all. There's always a way around in Final Fantasy, if you're really good. Have you tried casting protect, shell, reflect, on your team mates yet? Don't spoil anything for me, I'm not where you're at yet. I just feel that maybe you should try going into battle with haste and with protect/ shell or reflect on. Also I'd upgrade your armor as much as possible if you haven't already.[QUOTE="GalufUndies"][QUOTE="killerband55"]
i have two, but i rewrote my old file to what i did now (i know it was dumb)

of course, but when i mean this one attack will KO your teammate or your party leader, i mean it, all the buffs in the world couldnt protect you from this one attack
LOL, well you're in a bad situation and I'm not questioning your skills, just trying to offer you some tactic. (outside opinion)... Someone who's faced off to the boss might be a better canidate. If you can cast a Esper first so that he takes the blow. He'll die but you'll live on. At any rate this is a game where you can max everything out, right? I doubt they made it impossible to win. I guess I'd just try extreme updates if possible I'd upgrade every weapon and armor I had to the max. Sorry I can't helpYou don't have previous saves? Why would you use one save file?[QUOTE="GalufUndies"][QUOTE="killerband55"]
i'm at the final boss of this entire game, and it does this one attack that instantly KO's my teammates, i did forget to pick up a certain accessory in the final area, so am i just screwed to the point i wont beat the game (otherwise i could try to use Sentinel to try to lure the attacks to my teammate and kill him/her instead)

I just feel that maybe you should try going into battle with haste and with protect/ shell or reflect on. Also I'd upgrade your armor as much as possible if you haven't already. if you can cast slowage or whatever you got on the boss. I'd definitely have haste on and protect/ shell. Another tactic is that as soon as the battle starts if you can get the first move on the boss you should take out one of your ESPERS so that it takes the brunt of the attack and you can work off that first move to prepare yourself for a long battle. You don't have previous saves? [QUOTE="EmperorSupreme"]They might ask you to move this to the sticky. I've only played a handful of the final fantasy games in the past so I don't know how to compare it to those, but here are my plusses and minuses. Keep in mind I'm only 3 chapters or so in. Plusses so far: nice graphics (always loved the imagination in Final fantasy games), excellent story, great music, great characters, fun fighting system minuses so far: Linear, not much customization to do on characters, incredibly easy at least so far I'm enjoying it and in the end I guess that's all that mattersskp_16
I hope they won't move this to the sticky. I'm having a hard time determining of the feedbacks there are biased or not. Hehe.
OK, speaking realism, the graphics are descent, but he's right as far as fantasy goes, the FF games are very imaginative. At the end of the day it's the 13th game in a franchise, if you've ever liked anything like a RPG, chances are you'll love this because no other franchise, well, very few, have went as long. The franchise is from 1987.
