@Commander_Snowy Obviously the deaths of male humans are far less consequential than the death of female humans.

Game journalists have become ridiculously gender obsessed of late.

The big problem with this is that MS has not offered anything to repay costumers for the limits it's going to impose on how they use their rightfully purchased software. Steam offered PC gamers a trade in that they get frequently excellent deals on games just a few months old with lots of good community and mod support integrated into the system in exchange for not really having a way to sell used games; Microsoft isn't promising lower prices, free DLC, or mod support to make up for the further constraining the ecosystem and inconveniencing it's costumers.

Do we know if PS4 will let the user replace the internal disc like on the PS3? The Xbox One seems like a step up from the 360 in that at least external storage is the same in function as the limited internal storage, but this is still a little disappointing.

I miss when really good shooters were not afraid to be rated 'T'. Think original Call of Duty; great game, didn't need to be rated above Teen and wasn't going to waste anytime trying to be anything other than good.

@andrewwittmaier I would say that The Brothers Karamazov is a far more worthwhile use of time than Mass Effect 2 (it deals more deeply and wisely with humanity, but that is my experience and not yours), but I totally agree that there are experiences in games that run parallel to literature and art, that inspire and refine us. They may be few and far between, but they are there, and people are seeing that and chasing after them more and more. I will not regret the hours it took to read Dostoevsky, and I will not regret a good bit of the time I spent playing beautiful or thoughtful games.

This is saddening. I planned to get Amular at some point and wanted it to evolve and give ES a run for its money. Some publisher should have kept them afloat for another game or two (I was not happy that they were aiming for an MMO next).

Nintendo's post is hilariously egotistical. Sony and MS made the most insightful ones. EA was iffy.

This is more of a testament to Halo 2's graphical prowess and art design than it is a point against Halo 3. That said Bungie should have taken the art style in a slightly different direction just so that we wouldn't wind up with a very polished, high resolution Halo 2.
