Bring back the merchant! i don't mind having skills aswell but it should be restricted to little perks. I think there should be individual upgrades instead of just a firepower skill and character health shouldnt be a skill either. Plus the skills were expensive so you can't buy them that often so it didnt feel like you were getting gradually stronger rather you got a hell of alot stronger every now and then.
Leons campaign seemed harder to me because he takes more damage than chris or jake could do plus his handgun is much weaker (but has a much faster firing speed and well he does have 2 of them).
I thought jake was abit of a cliched character but was handled well within that cliche. It was really enjoyable watching his relationship with Sherry develop as the story progressed and he was pretty badass at times.
I though Helena was pretty forgetable.
I didnt really care about Piers until around chapter 3 after that realised he was awesome. He had chris's back the whole way and managed to avoid the soldier stereotype as much as possible. I actually would have liked to see him in a future game until well the events of chapter 5 occured which makes it unlikely.
Overall they were less annoying than Ashley and pulled thier weight more than Sheva ever did.
I think within the chapters there are game save points (where you will resume from if you quit the game) and checkpoints where you resume after you die (but not If you quit out, then the game sets you back to the previous save point). When you quit the game after a checkpoint the game saves you inventory status not the check point. For example (with minimal spoilers) in Leons chapter one I died and quit during the petrol garage standoff (which is a checkpoint). When the I came back to play the game afew hours later I ressumed at the subway exit where the town section starts (this is a save point) but I my shotgun that you get midway through the town. Just pay attention when you get through a area whether it just says checkpoint or saving game. Becaue the chapters all comptise of around 3 distinct sections its prety safe to assume the save points are at the begiing of each section.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good dungeon or cave with lots of enemies to farm kills. I want to rack up some kills to unlock the werewolf skill perks. Thanks
