I just played through GTA San Andreas last week and those graphics are unbelievably bad compared to anything being made today, but the game itself is still way more fun then Crysis 2 or 3 could ever hope to be. Amazing graphics are nice but gameplay should not be sacrificed in their name.
Because if real life is like GTA4, then that means I can shoot a couple people in the face, run two blocks, and get off scott free. Yep, so realistic......
Just goes to show that bleeding edge graphics won't make a boring game good. Its like you can't make good games either. Look at Far Cry 3! That was GOTW good and your follow-up is this re-hashed game.
Pretty much sums up Halo 4. Its a great game but there are areas which need improvement. I would like to see ordnance drops removed completely and just go back to the old ways of picking up weapons. Also multiplayer maps. Every game has a few mp maps that just aren't that good, but Halo 4? I personally found myself saying that they aren't that bad, instead of saying they are actually good. I would be happy if they just released every Halo 2 map and a few from 3 and Reach and called it a day. But thats just me and I think 343 will do great things with the series :)
Dishonored is an amazing game, but I wouldn't say GOTY. It didn't really have any weakness, but I felt as if it could have been improved in many areas. I would have gone with Halo 4 myself.
It's a beautiful game, but graphics are one of the most overrated parts of a game. It's solid gameplay that makes a game, and Crysis 2 just lacked that something special to it. I'll wait and see the reviews until I pick this up.
