Hard choice, but if I have to only take one it would be New vegas. The setting, the story, the quests were much better. The hardcore mode is also fantastic.
GMG has a pretty good sale going on right now. If you haven't picked up Borderlands 2 yet nows a fantastic time. You get the game and seasons pass 75% off. Also killing floors a good deal if you dont yet have that.

This game gave me 60 $ worth of fun (about 100-150 hours if you prefer that :P), so yeah it was worth it for me. I found it more enjoyable to play solo, because of the exploration aspect of the game. In solo, you are the master of your journey. You want to go in this area, make that event or that other event or doing your story quest, but in duo, you end up following or leading the other, not much fun.
I bet the number are up because of the Greek culture pack (that include quite a lot of interesting stuff) they are giving for free. Nice insensitive, but I am not a fan of that approach, personally.
