I cannot play Fallout due to a condition i have. I call it "chronic looting syndrome". Can anyone else relate? When playing Fallout something in my head makes me "A" button spam EVERY container and EVERY corpe for loot, ammo etc.
I spend my entire time looting, then i get frustrated, and give up. :( I havent even finished Fallout 3 because of it. It's similar to "itchy nose syndrome" which i also get during the last lap of a racing game.
If anyone hasn't played them yet id recommend the Metro games, Get the first 2 before the third is released next year. They are superb atmospheric shooters set in the Moscow Metro post nuclear fallout. The story is superb. buy the 3 books by Dimitry Glukhovsky, Metro 2033/34 and 35. The series is based on the books
Wh yhave they renamed it "Monster World" when the series is actually called "Wonder Boy"? I guess the latter does sound a bit, you know, like an adult film or something. I had them on the Master System when i was a kid, and my main memory of them was the ruthless difficulty.
Im almost afraid to say it, and feel a bit guilty, but i didnt like the first one, i tried it and found myself ebaying the game shortly after. Gave it a 2nd try recently but it still didnt grab me. I dont know why i dont like it. And i know i should. :|
