sounds like your bad at racing games. :p each car in the game drives different. if you played for 2 hours you shouldof found 5-10 cars, and noticed that each one drives differently. the starter cars are easy to drive in my opinion but i cant really drive them good. i tend to use the fast cars with high control. in this game you really have to find the car for you just like they say in trailer.

in my opinion i think they took some landmarks from each of the need for speed and burnout games. i noticed a few spots that looked like a place in the original most wanted. same with original hot pursuit and burnout paradise and burnout 2. but i also see a whole lot of new areas. im surprised at the city design. i keep ending up at these 2 spots. that spot with the 2 ring looking things. and the big dirt area with all that construction.

true, but as for the replay value. i believe they are wanting to focus on multiplayer. but atm i cant seem to get in a good multiplayer match. the singleplayer does have replay value to a extent. and no story i expected. they probably shouldof added a small story line or something. as for the amount of cars in the game, i feel there is alot of them. i have around 36 now. also rank 6 on most wanted in sp. i was just playing looking around for billboards, alot of them seem pretty simple to get. burnout paradise some of them were really hard to get. also remember this game still has potential. i hope they do like burnout paradise console version, and come out with dlc. still hate the fact they didnt come out with most of it for pc. ti hope they dont do the same thing with most wanted. us pc gamers want dlc to. :p what i see as future dlc = 1. ambush for multiplayer(if its not already in it) 2. car customizeation 3. cops and robers 4. more cars 5. more to do on freedrive in multiplayer( i did freedrive and i didnt see much to do on it. and i cant view the challenges inless someone joins my match.

i use a gamepad. never liked the wheels. they are ether not sensitive enough or too sensitive. came across a really nice controller tho, its for the ps3 but works on pc really good. it is the hks racing controller. very awkward for first few hours but after you get use to it it is really nice. :p works right away on most wanted and burnout paradise.

First off, I see alot of complaints about the game, so I thought I would post my thoughts. To mainly say how the game is from my experience. I personally think they did a really good job, but in all the fourms I go to people are saying bad things about the game and giving it low ratings. Come on people! The game was just released! Seems most people saying these "bad things" dont even have the game. ALSO, someone said this is a sequal to the dead game Burnout Paradise. Well news flash, the game is very much alive! Just two days ago I created a multiplayer match and made it public. I had 8 people in under 5 minutes. How is that dead? 8 players is max per room. I even kicked a few people that didn't participate in the challenges and new people came in right away. This post is mainly about how the game is, as I see it. There are things I'm going to leave out, because I dont want to spoil the game. So here we go: CRASH SYSTEM: There is a new way of handling it apparently. When you crash your engine turns off, but you can turn it back on and get back into the race. If your car is upside down or stuck on its side you will re-spawn in middle of the road. TO FIND CARS: You look for jackpot spots, which are easy to find. You look for a car logo above a car and go to it. You can get in it and take control of that car. If you want to get back your old car you can jump to it or drive back to it. There are some cars hidden really good (not giving example because then you would go look for that spot to get a good car), so no spoilers here. Most Wanted List: The most wanted list requires you to have X amount of speed points to challenge them. If you win the race you have to take out the most wanted to get their car. If they manage to escape...it turns into a game of hide n' seek. It is kinda like in Burnout when you had to hunt and takeout the car to get the car. Currently I dont know how long they will be roaming for. I stayed near an area and I lost track of them then they ended up showing up again. WEATHER: It appears to be only day and night. I have not seen any weather (rain,snow,etc...) yet. NOTE: This game IS NOT CLOSED TRACK. There have been a few people saying it was closed track, it is not. I have had a few times when arrows popped up saying go this or that way but you can drive right through them. I have only had them pop up like 2 times and considering how many races I have had it is not that many. My Current Stats: Game Time: 5 hours and 23 mins Most Wanted List: 8 in sp Cars: 32 Review Pro's and Con's: Pro: - Best of both worlds - burnout collides with need for speed. - The new crash handling, a lot of people don't seem to like it, but I did mention it above. - Find and drive - In order you get a new car in singleplayer you have to find it or win it from a most wanted driver. - Police are crazy hard to get away from! - The AI are smarter and aggressive, but not too aggressive. - Huge map! - Great graphics! - All cars handle very different...just like you would expect from burnout. - Loads of traffic! - Great soundtrack! Con: - In multiplayer no one is playing the game it seems. In that they are all playing bumper cars, but to fix this host your own. - No customization like there was in NFS Underground,Carbon, or Paradise. updates: UPDATES: yes there is currently stutters but they are not game ruining stutters. i get 1 every 10-20 mins. the game will just lockup when it happens but only for few seconds. yes there is gamepad customization. however there is no default key set. so you have to go through it and customize it yourself. yes cops can pin you against wall if you are not careful and bust you. yes multiplayer is weird rightnow. i will be doing a tests on it sometime today or tomarrow with a friend so we can see how it really is. how multiplayer is in public games is mentioned above.

that all depends on you. ive crashed many times, and managed to escape but if you crash trying to go through a tight space then ya you can move because they will keep you pined. my suggestion is to try and lose some of the cops before doing those tight spaces.
