Kansas City Chiefs...

1 OT Left - pocket protector

2 OT Right - road grader

3 C - Weigman is the worst fit for a straight ahead blocking scheme

4 OG Right - making a tackle play G wont work

5 DT - I dont care so long as the DT is massive and hard to push around.

6 MLB - a real Mike, making Donnie edwards play MLB again wont work this time because he is too old.

7 WR - or 2

8 RB - Larry Johnson is worn out, out of shape, and is one of the weakest-minded players in the NFL. stick a fork in him.

9 CB - law' gone, Surtain looked terrible the last 2 years

10 CB - someone with experiance playing cover 2 would be nice

11 FB - just so long as he can block and catch, a real FB would be an upgrade

12 SS - a safety that can cover would be nice

13 TE - a blocking TE to replace Dunn

14 DE - someone who can play consistently

15 DE - someone to replace Jarred Allen

If you watched part of the interview....he seems really pissed off in general. I think the Vikings getting rid of him took a big toll on him emotionally......it's like he's just playing on the Raiders to prove a point. Players and coaches say he's a great and very positive influence in the locker room. But hopefully he'll get over the Vikings' betrayal of him.....that should happen as soon as the Raiders get rid of Kerry.VanHalun040604

turner is ultimately responsible though. Kerry is Kerry... he has a big arm, a weak chin, and a coaching staff that doesnt trust him to win games. the raiders offense could really go places if the OC unleashed it. Lamont Jordan would be a great receiver out of the backfield if the raiders really dedicated themselves to a run 'n' gun attack instead of the "poor man's WCO" that they are running now.

[QUOTE="killerjt"] [QUOTE="FishPicker"]it pains me to say it but, Preist is calling it a career and wont be back. I love Preist, he has been a TD machine throughout his entire career. in his senior year of college he had a TD/carry ratio better than 1:4 . now he is the Cheifs pride and joy. I remember being impressed when he led the league in rushing, then he went and scored 27 TDs in 2003.OMG!!!!!!!!:o

KC is trying to screw Priest out of his money. I hope he keeps all of that $ from his contract. He deserves the best for being the best running back KC ever had.

Preist is a varry good back, but he is not the best back KC had. That would go to Marcus Allen.

Um...Marcus Allen was a Raider....a Chief second.

Uh, wasn't Priest Holmes a Raven first and a Cheif second? It doesn't really matter.

Marcus Allen is the greatest RB to ever PLAY in a Chiefs uniform.

Right...By that reasoning, Jerry Rice would be the greatest WR to ever play in a Broncos uniform, even though he only played preseason games. Priest Holmes is the best Chief RB ever. Period. He hardly spent any time in Baltimore and definitely spent the MAJORITY of his career in KC. Marcus's years in KC were just a footnote to his career in Oaktown.

That is true, but Jerry Rice wouldn't exactly count since that was pre-season and not regular season.

As far as career, Marcus Allen is the best but Priest Holmes is the best at career at KC. I'm basically just saying that Marcus Allen was the best RB to ever suit up in a Chiefs uniform. I know most of his achievements came at Oakland, but I'm just saying...

the best running back KC ever had. had is the the key word here. MA is great to be sure but he was in a RBC for the entire time he was here. Priest Holmes carried the entire KC team during his stay (aside from this year). in that respect there is no comparison. The only knock on Priest is his durability. aside from that, he exceeds Allen by far. Priest was the best RB to utilize blocks ever. the O-line that Marcus ran behind was as good or even better than the lineman that priest had.

I dont know why anyone would compare Priest to pre-chiefs Marcus Allen. that doesnt make any sense. they both have SuperBowl rings from previous teams and they both netted the chiefs the exact same results. 1 playoff berth and zero wins. The statistics are really skewed though. Priest set records for KC.
