Most Beautiful? Objectively Okami, Uncharted, Wind Waker, Flow, Fable 2, Killzone, GOW, RE5 Personal Bias GTA4- Not so much for the character art, but the low-poly painterly look of the backgrounds really sing to me. Pixeljunk Eden- Economy does wonders on this game. Two colors say more then five. Fable 2- Consistent balanced style, with a perfect mix of texturing and color. Okami- Watercolor fx are really sharp, and its a distinctive and effective style. RE5- Technical marvel, again. I don't see much mesh warping.....and that's rather special for a game.
I logged in over 100 on FF12, FF7, and FF6. I also played transformers armada 5 times, at about 20 hours a play through. But Xenogears takes the cake. Getting a complete mastery in that game took over 250 hours. And though I wouldn't count them, Warhawk, Left For Dead, Halo 2, and Soul Calibur 3 have all recieved over 200 hours of my time. 500 in the case of soul cal.
Any MMO is a wash to me. The point and click interface, combined with the awful concept of grinding, I find altogether untasteful. Granted, I like my RPGs, I've always been more in the vain of JRPGS, usually something with a whimsical story. But an MMO is all the stats, none of the heart of the story, or the immersion into a world. Sure you get customizable content, but hell, I can do a drawing for free...... Metroid. The game never made me excited. It's a shooter, and I'm not excited? COD has me jumping at doors and telephones, Metroid has me yawning and munching. Elder Scroll. Conventional FPS, Awfully animated, dead story, repetitive. Need I say more?
