I had this issue in the past...and the problem was my disc drive. for some reason it played older games, but would not play the new game.

How old is your 360? I recommend you replace the console. I have not heard of this problem until today, but you make the 3rd person I have read about today with this same problem.

It's a sequel, not a "remake". We all know it's not going to be anything groundbreaking as far as gameplay goes. But if you are a fan of the series, it's a must buy. And i'm sure the multiplayer will be as addicting as ever. There is going to be comparisons made to Battlefield 3, but they are really 2 different type of games. COD is more fast paced, and arcade type run and gun, and Battlefield 3 is more of a slow paced, team based game. I will be getting both.

It's the best one yet..I highy recommend it, if you are a fan of Black Ops
