First of all I'm not that into oblivion, I do have it but it just doesn't do anything for me.

About the penumbra series, I recently began [playing those but the fact that you have to rely solely on the game to save let me down a lot, I found I had to always replay lots of the game..

Hello, I am looking for games of two particual catagories. Can you tell me any games you know of (old or new) that fit the genre.

Category 1: "Get em all" games, which contain a large number of "things" to be collected be they monsters, animals, cards, anything. I enjoyed pokemon a little, but I liked the card game in FF8 because you had to build your collection and put some effort into it, but I would enjoy any game involving a quest to complete some large collection.

Category 2: First person adventure games. I enjoyed 7th guest, myst, and the nancy drew games. So please tell me of any that you know of so I can check them out.

I enjoy old and new games, and I am looking for games only on PC (and psx I suppose).
