Bioshock was a console game first, a PC game second. 360 was the lead platform, that is why you hermits think it's dumbed down, because it lacks all the **** that isn't needed in a game like this, such as the cumbersome inventory found in SS2.

And Bioshock is a better game by far, give people both games and only about 10% will finish SS2, it's highly over rated and gets dull as hell about two hours into the game, most will have the staying power for Bioshock.

For the last three years GOTY has been on a console, and GOTY 2007 will a console game, either Halo 3, Mario Galaxy, Mass effect.While you hermits are busy buying games that only look good but play like crap, console game developers are making games that play well, games that are worthy of GOTY, the kind of games real gamers want to play. Not PC games that are nothing but tech demos for new engines.

You can keep telling yourself PC has higher standards, yet it hasn't had a GOTY for many many years. All you have left is graphics, yet many console games look better than most of your games, Killzone 2, Mass effect, GT5, PGR4. The GOTY is a console game every year now, and 99% of your games that score well like Bioshock, World in conflict,are alsoon consoles and end up selling more on consoles.

The days of PC owning consoles is long over, console games are out scoring, out selling, and getting more awards than PC games. Sorry to single you out hermits, but you have to know the truth, your days of being number one left when you stopped gettting the GOTY all those years ago, now you're platform is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to talking about the "best" games and what will win GOTY. Console gamers are now the grown ups with the best games, and you are the kids who need to learn that good graphics do not make good games. When you learn this you may get a game that can be considered a candidate for GOTY. Until then watch the console gamers and developers to see how it's done.

Don't try to use logic or facts on hermits, it doesn't work. Even with the review scores staring them in the face they can't admit Halo 3 is better than all their FPS.

And the higher standards argument is old and holds no weight anymore.
