The Cost of the game must be subtracted from the revenue. Development may not even include marketing or expansions/future development that they need to fund right now. The time value of money means that a dollar today is not worth a dollar in the past....

Why were the Halo commercials not included. They (Halo 3 and ODST) always seem so cool... and then you get the game and it's another story. I have to admit, I enjoyed reach though.
