It did indeed evolve into it's current iteration. With every game the amount of action has increased, and in 4, the focus definitively shifted to action. It sounds like you didn't even play the last two games in the series.

@HokutoSeikun @radec69 No, Kevin is an incompetent gamer and journalist. He has no business being a fucking senior editor, let alone a journalist of any kind. After he wrote this review, he spent a week using GameSpot as a tool to pump up his ego; he is a huge narcissist.

As far as his complaints against the game are concerned, it reads like he he has never played a game before, and every aspect "bad" about RE6 is praised in other games.

As you can plainly see, the vast majority of gamers here disagree with this review, and among those that don't, a large percentage, possibly the majority, haven't even played the game, let alone given it a real chance.

@gamekingpin VanOrd is an incompetent gamer and journalist. The "problems" he had with this game make no sense for someone who plays games a lot. Based on his APPARENT skill level, he should have played the game on easy, where all the QTEs are skipped. I say "apparent" because I don't buy it for an instant; he's being disingenuous. This does not even sound like the same game I played, just as you said. His lack of honesty and integrity make him a terrible journalist. That he used GameSpot to pat himself on the back over and over after this review clearly shows what a narcissist he is. His complaining about the camera controls are blatant exaggeration, to the point of being lies. His complaints about unavoidable deaths are the same; I completed the game on normal difficulty, and literally not even once did I die any of the ways he complains about, and I am a pretty average gamer. One aspect in which I am below average is QTEs. I have a difficult time with QTEs, more so than any other gamer I know personally. I did not find the QTEs in RE6 to be "bad", "distracting", or any of the other adjectives VanOrd used to describe them. I believe VanOrd deliberately lied in this review and tried to harm sales of the game. Capcom should ****ing sue for this bull**** review.
