Just because its more powerfull, doesn't mean its going to be a better system, its got to have software to, which so far, I don't see much of. A reasonable price is also pretty important, and even the $500 dollar system is going to scare people away. The price of the games also hasn't been announced, and if it ends up being more than the new $60 dollar cost, It'll scare even more people away. The PS3 tries to be a juggernaut when it comes to technology, but seems to be lacking in so many other things. If it doesn't have good software, and nobodys even going to buy it because of the price, that makes all the pretty tech specs pretty irrelevant. And hey, Id'e think before you say the Wii is going to be no competition and its completely useless. Even Sony would beg to differ there I bet, since they tried to copy Nintendo real quick when they realized innovation is something their system is lacking. I have no doubt in my mind that the Wii will sell far more units then the PS3. Nintendo has something new and innovative, and the 360 does a more traditional sytem the RIGHT way, balancing software, hardware, and price. Remember that 3DO system? Big scary price point, technology that was awesome for its time, the only difference is the 3DO had a good lineup of software. something tells me the PS3 will see the same fate as it did.
