Not sure if its been said, but this came up in world religions class last semester.

Muslims do not believe Jesus died there, they believe a desciple died in his place.

If memory serves

Just saw this movie a couple days ago. I thought it was wonderfully done, if not a bit creepy.

"There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence."

Some one better get this....The character names are right there :)

What happened to Pushing Daisies? I loved that show and it completely dissapeared. I would really like it to come back on the air. Anyone else miss that show?

your not making it easy for us.

Go to walmart and buy a crap set of golf clubs, then go golfing at a nice cheap course.

go hiking, if there are parks near you

take up archery, i do it with my friends, but i can see it as a sport to play by yourself

work out more, go swimming if your club has a pool

jog

join up with a car club if you own one, do solo 1s...time trials, its fun

thats all i have for you, and you cant really hope to get anywhere if your not going to try to get with other people or spend some money. Seems you've rejected everyones ideas because you dont want to spend money on the various things. Your just going to have to.

good luck

I saw "No country for old men" recently and liked the premise. I know there are other films like it, that have to do with drug money being taken and then chased after, but I can't think of any. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Now, this coming from a 16 year old who obviously hasn't thought to hard about it, still,

The life on other planets is almost a certanty. In the vastness of space there is pretty much no denying it. the point is how far away and at what time.

now the chances that, in the billions of years everything has been around, that we would just happen to be developing alongside another race is slim to none. THere could have been hundreds of civilized worlds that rose and fell in the infinite reaches of space but it does not mean in our time.

Secondly, space is huge, very very very huge, so completely massively huge that i do not think anyone will every be able to comprehend it. You really think that some distant civilized and even space faring civilization would actually 1. find us, 2. upon finding us simply make patterns in random fields. if they were a people even remotely similar to us, and in order to be intelligent i would assume at least a little. You would think this huge discovery for them of life on another planet would warrant some kind of open communication with us. but i must stress my first point. We, as a planet are so completey insignifigant in the universe that contact seems improbable to say the least. Our little nothing planet orbiting this nothing star in this nothing galaxy. As far as I am concerned every alien encounter that has ever been reported has either been the work of some force or another from this planet, or the person own mind.

but hey, thats just what i see with the facts provided to me.
