Ok CoD 4 looks marginally better on the PS3. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 looks alot better on the Xbox 360, but lets face it, the original was developed on an Xbox 360 so what did you expect? Need for Speed Pro Street looks alot better on the Xbox 360, but im blaming that on lazy developers. For the most part they are still pretty much the same, but id say the PS3 shows signs of superior anit-alaising, however the Xbox 360 shows superiority in dealing with shadows for the most part. Thats just what I think, but to be honest at this stage its really only how well the develpers design the game on that console that give it superior graphics.

You can certainly see where all that time they spent not making the map bigger than SA has made up for itself. Impressive, but not unexpected. The next few GTAs will probably be very graphically similar. cant wait for GTA "5"....

This is getting just a bit ridiculous. This is just what the gamespot staff are looking forward to most this year, they arnt trying to force their opinion on you so you should not be ofended! Big wow so no one decided they were excited about GTA 4, to be honest im so sick of hearing about it, i dont even care, i wasnt even that impresed by the last one. Someone chose tomb raider because he liked the tomb raider series of games, it does not make him stupid for not being AS excited about some of the biger games coming this 2007. People are allowed opinions, accept that. P.s Its hard to be excited about MGS when information on it is so limited, and the chance of the game actually coming out in 2007 isnt certain, and i bet none of the staff want any anticpiated games of 2007 to come out in 2008.

Well come on lets face it, it is just their personal opinion. They dont represent the mases, and i can understand alot of their choices over games such as GTA, simply because they are new, and original, and theres more information on these games, but keep in mind that we all have opinions and you do not need to be offended by their choices. personally im looking forward to bioshock and assasins creed P.S Reason why there are more 360 titles is, becuase theres more information on curent upcoming 360 games, and generally more coming out at this time.

Well actually who says you need a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player? They are both pretty much unproven, and im not intersted in getting the next generation in DVD players, because films arnt as good as they used to be, and we pay more for them, which is why i will not be wasting about £150 on a stupid super DVD player when curent DVDs look perfectly fine. SO keping that in mind £150 for 360 (core) discounted of course ;p) plus hard drive (but im to cheap for that so i bought a memory unit i use my computer for media anyway so thats like £23 but whatever) £65 odds = £215 then add xbox live £35 = £250. And the PS3 is costing over £300, and the 360 has a bigger library of games, and in theory allways will have. So for my purposes 360 all the way.
