I'm going to go ahead and say that I perfer 1080 native resolution because I have a TV that does 1080 and it looks better than an upscaled 720 signal. Not that hard to figure out.
Between DMC, MGS, GTA, Army of 2, Mercs 2 ,Killzone ,the enevitable Skate sequel, Little Big Planet, Burnout Paradise, and everything else that doesn't imediatly come to mind 08 is looking kind of awesome.
Either version you get it still installs the same file onto the HDD. The only difference is that with the disc version, the disc is needed to authenticate that you actually have the game. Where as the dowload version authenticates to your PSN id.
