Has anyone here played the local co op at all? If so, how is it?

I played it with my brother, and contrary to popular belief, it is alot of fun. The story makes no sense, and sometimes you have no idea what your supposed to be doing, but then a huge bug shows up and you forget about all that and have a hell of a fun time taking it down with whoever your playing with. I really enjoyed this game, and to everyone who says it sucks, I think you really need to go back and play the game again... If you still don't like it, get some help.
As a Canadian, the only thing I agree is the Identity Theft Protection and your MLB subscription. The games Sony offered, is their apology and I'm almost 100% certain that the CEO made a video apology to all of it's PSN users.
At least we got something, but I still want that ID Theft protection that everyone else is getting.

I downloaded the fireplace one which looks sweet, but it does slow it down and is nearly impossible to read the text with the fire flaming in the background. They are a good idea, but do slow it down and hinder the entire XMB
What I think he is asking is if the free stuff you download right now while on PS+ will still be able to be played once the PS+ subscription expires. I myself wouldn't know, but don't think they can penalize you by blocking games you downloaded while they were free on the PS+
None of the answers in this poll really apply to me. I never really played the previous ones enough to say this is the best or one of them is better. What I can say is: All the multiplayers are the exact same as the other. A few things added, a few things taken away. None better than the other enough for me to pick one. The campaign in Black ops was great imo. I had fun playing the story through the various levels and wars. It was alot of fun, although at times a little tedious.
I have a 60GB that was fixed last summer and when I play L.A. Noir I do notice it is working much harder to play it and the fans are going real hard. I normally don't play it for that long a time, but it does seem to work a hell of alot harder to play L.A. Noir compared to something like Black Ops. I'd rather not have the system die again after it died because of Red Dead. What is it with Rockstar and making great games that seem to want to kill my PS3?
