TSW has some good stuff, but it's just not worth a subscription. GW2 gameplay makes TSW look like a web browser game, and GW2 doesn't have a subscription.

If Funcom were smarter, they would have made TSW totally free, but offered clothing/content for a fee.

I like the backstory, but the gameplay needs tons of work. Compared to recent MMOs like TERA and Guild Wars 2 it feels really dated.

League of Legends is probably the best example of this marketing strategy. I certainly don't like it, but it's undoubtedly effective.

@luniac It's true that most of the fighting and dying in WW2 took place on the Eastern front. That doesn't change the fact that Stalin was a brutal dictator who murdered millions of people for practically no reason at all.

1. The real-time aspect looks really cool. It's actually very unlike a movie.

2. It's cool that Ellen Page would be involved with something like this.

3. I hope they do a PC port (though they probably won't).

I'm looking forward to hearing more. I don't like the Witcher games, but the developers who made them are obviously talented. If they get the chance to work on an exciting new IP, I'll be the first to pre-order.

I wish ArenaNet would just tell us when they want to release the game. Pre-purchases started more than a month ago.
