The responses to this article will be interesting. I'm pretty neutral about all of this. I don't think there's anything "wrong" with being transgender, but it's also not something I'd want for my children. It's one thing to be gay--gay people are usually pretty secure in their identity. Being transgender implies that you need to change yourself, and I can't see that as being an easy process for anyone.
I think people are being too hard on ME3. I really hated DA2 because it was a rushed mess with no redeeming qualities. ME3 might have problems, but the combat and gameplay are quite a lot better than the previous games in the series.
This phenomenon isn't really restricted to gamers--it's just a byproduct of being anonymous. As far as her point, I really don't care. DA2 was a bad game though. I wish Bioware would talk about that instead.
It's hilarious, I follow some link on the Bioware forums about favorite quotes, and guess who's loudly proclaiming DA2 "the best written RPG in recent memory." See for yourself: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/115/1158662p2.html
@texasgoldrush I think you're admitting that it's unfair, but claiming that the unfairness is okay. Of course it's not fair to make a decision that will decide the life of your sibling without realizing it, only a lunatic would call that "fair." The difference is that you think that kind of thing is acceptable, and I think it's junk. I didn't like the Witcher and I didn't play Planetscape Torment. This discussion is about DA2, not what some critics said about other games.
