@RiceCake I definitely see the future proofing with the blu-ray. I also see game developers shying away from putting that much production into a game in terms of actually filling up a blu-ray disc. I Sony has stated with blu-ray they can fit all regional formats of a game on one disc, also making it cheapier for them. If its cheapier for them and they are going to charge so much for a system, they better sell the games cheapier. I also know since Sony is on the side of blu-ray, its their own format. Why not force your format on to your customers? I'm not trying to knock sony, I have owned every brand of system that has come out so far. I just think sony has taken its fan base for granted. Although once they put out hot shots and gran turismo, I might crack myself...
