As I mentioned before: During the install of sniper elite high command edition, the new CD key wasnt asked.

Solution:

1) Launch Steam.

2) In the left top corner select Games.

3) Choose activate a product on Steam

4) Add the CD key of sniper elite V2 high command edition.

5) The game will start to create local game cache files

Preparing sniper elite V2 files for install

Meanwhile the DLC content is being downloaded.

6) After the download has completed, close the window of the product activation.

Why didn't Steam point this out to me?

Why didn't they include the landwehr canal DLC?

Everyone is copying call of duty. I call them the follow me games.

You advance through a narrow game field and you always have to follow.

This is so passé and boring!!!!

The PC controls of this game are horrible and I suggest that the makers go take a look somewhere else, to learn something.

Although I have a GTX 580, the graphics look backdated.

I dont play multiplayer games.

First of all they should make a decent single player game.

Most of the games are short, using the multiplayer as an add on.

DLCs should be part of the game package (Sing: Were in the money).

PC games sales are going down. No wonder.

I dont play games anymore, because Im always busy with updating my game accounts and the games linked to it.

I start my PC to play a game and then it starts to update.

A while a go, I played battlefield 3 and when I tried to play it again, it started to download 5 GB.

I added the following info and send it to steam support.

I already checked the "View downloadable content" and it says: You currently have no downloadable content for this
game.

At the front of the retail box: Fully loaded with new content!

In the back in red letters: This enchanced high command edition comes with a full armoury of new content.

+ Kill Hitler DLC mission with 2 extra weapons.

+ 7 new multiplayer maps.

+ 5 new multiplayer modes.

+ 4 new co-op modes.

+ New single player mission.

+ 3 new weapons.

I forgot to mention that during the install of sniper elite V2 high command edition, I wasn't asked to use my new keycode.

I also right clicked on both DVD's and opened them, to check the contens of the sniper elite V2 DVD and the sniper elite V2 high command edition DVD and there is a quite a big difference.

For example:

1) The sniper elite V2 DVD contains sim, sis and sid files.

In total there are 16 items to install.

There is 4.99 GB on the DVD.

2) The Sniper elite V2 high command edition contains a lot of
depotcache_1.csm and depotcache_1.csm.csd files.

In total there are 45 items to install.

There is 5.95 GB on the DVD.

ANSWER FROM STEAM

The retail copy of this game that you have registered contains only the base Sniper Elite V2 game.

If there was supposed to be additional content in this pack, it may have been included as a separate CD Key in your original game packaging.

I think the extra's are on the DVD. but steam install does not accept them.
