Wii U has a 0% chance of outselling the Xbox One. ZERO. NONE. ZIP. NADA.

A newed card sales better than an older one? Holy shit! Amazing!
More amazing are the idiots who would buy a $1000 video card.

timbers_WSU

Lol. i forgot that consolites are communists. They condemn other people for having nicer things. :P

I can't speak for other consolites but the 360 and PS3 was fine for me. The PS4 looks fine for me. $1000 on a card to play games is idiotic..

Your standards are horrifically low. Nearly sheep level.

[QUOTE="clr84651"]

Slashkice TC your hardware numbers are BS. What did you type those numbers in?! PS3 outsells 360 every freakin week for over 3 years running now. How the heck do you think it caught the 360 and passed it up?!

clr84651

NPD sales are for NA which is the 360's strongest market. The PS3 does better in Japan and PAL regions.

Then NPD is lame & worse to quote than VGchartz. It's worldwide sales we're interested in.

If you're not American, you really might as well not exist. USA! USA! USA!

[QUOTE="Dick_Derringer"][QUOTE="Heirren"] Nope, and this is why it's currently struggling. Nintendo will turn things around. Ms and Sony are on their way to even more excessive control, dlc, and in-game purchases. Yes the Nintendo name isn't at the forefront, but they've been in the industry the longest; they understand a healthy business.nintendoboy16

NSMB sold 29 million

NSMB Wii sold 26 million

It's a big gun. It's actually one of the two or three biggest guns Nintendo has. Nintendo is doomed. Zelda won't save it. Smash won't save it. Kart won't save it.

RIP Nintendo home consoles

It never occurred to you that it came out on the same year as the 3DS game and that's why it sold like it did? Still too damn early to call Doom and Gloom on Nintendo, don't you think?

Absolutely not. The two gaming demographics (core & casual) have abandoned Nintendo home consoles. Nintendo has no future in the living room. Unless you're playing 3DS on the couch.

Nah.

But it may be their last successful console.  SW hyperbole aside, the chances of the Wii U pulling a total crash and burn are almost zero.  I know that may be tough to stomach for some of you, but just try stepping into the light of reality for a moment.

Nintendo is an immensely strong brand.  They have a stable of franchises that can easily sell 5, 10, 15, sometimes even 20 million + games.

They have yet to pull out even a single big gun and all you guys are calling DOOM!  DOOMMMM!!!

The reality is that even in the worst case scenario, the console will survive.

Nintendo consoles will die at some point, but the Wii U isnt it.  Their consoles wont die until their first party titles cease to pull in critical and commercial success.

It will be a slow death for Nintendo, not just *poof* they're gone.  Look at SE.  That is the kind of death you will see for Ninty.

The party gaming fad is over (Wii Sports, Rock Band etc) and all core gamers and developers have abandoned ship.

Nintendo will either go handheld only or third party within 5 years.

RIP Nintendo

Do any of the features actually change the gameplay?

I think that should be the deciding factor. Not just added features.

It'd be like saying a ton of multiplats are PC exclusive because they have more features even though they share the same gameplay (for the most part)

The controls have been completely revamped.
