Hello everyone, great community....much love Jess for hosting those horrific NEWS. It took me four years before i could own my first xbox then bought a ps3, both in 2010.
And i was thrilled. why because it took that long before real games were released and i believe it will take another 4 years before developers are able to utilize these new consoles full potential.
so i am not upset at Sony or Microsoft or at developers. truth, video games takes time, so i'll wait and save my money until that day, that very day gamestop announces a true breath taking, mind blowing, heart pumping, blood rushing video game.
For Christ sake "GAMESPOT" PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!!!! I am beggin you get it out to these developers that we as hardcore fans want back the original "need for speed most wanted" and " NFS underground" Stop this rampant constant racing shit and give us story.
UNF@%^ING BELIEVABLE, WHEN will they ever learn. Its simple, gives us that reason to be the best by giving us a villain. give us crazy customization, give us amazing tracks that even takes us through sky scrapers and smashes through buildings. for once show how tires reacts to tiles inside buildings and smashes through glass falling from hundreds of feet in the sky out of buildings. take us to something real and and fictional not arcade like. come on people WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????!!
Bring us back NFS-UNDERGROUND-MOST WANTED TEN TIMES FOLD.
Interesting, ever since this game was announce i became super excited with the direction and the material they decided to add to this game. Unfortunately, after watching this review i felt sad and disappointed. I love the series but the constant dialogue upsets me and it is even more upsetting that they decided to follow the show. Honestly, they need to understand that kids are not the only one watching and playing Naruto. besides the content is at times brutal and violent; so why contradict?
Fact: get rid of the long chatter keep the story and the action and you will have a 9.0 naruto video game bottom line.
You know I got to say, I am very please with the graphics shown for ps4. however, it is clear that sony is operating as a business and not in the interest of fans. They will continue to do as they please whether or not we like it. So at a fans point of view, I would say, sony is making a bad move and should be announcing these mega games for the new console. but from a business stand point, there strategy is good.
Not everyone is ready for ps4, and lots of people waited a very long time before the console price drops and for well develop games to be release. I think they know they messed up with ps3 launch. Ps3 lasted for way too long but if you consider how long it took for a really good game to launch, you would realize that the time span doesn't mean anything at this point. I believe games will take even longer to develop and consoles are going to last longer because of this.
The key for PlayStation is to produce high-end games, mind blowing realistic; and it takes time and money to do so. They have truly come a long way and I finally see that graphics is not all that matters. It is a combination, that will take patients and a serious flip on the way we think of video games.
Games are not just about picking up a controller and start smashing. It is moving into the direction of story telling and bringing ultra realistic fiction to virtual reality. And I'm loving it.
This is the Verdict. If EA is serious about making money i say give the fans what they want and improve on it every year or so. A mean, you don't see "Call of duty" being called "Call of Duty" and ends up being a Pokemon game.
Bottom line, NFS most wanted to us real die hard fans is about story and working our ass off against opponents to either take their car or move up a rank to becoming the best.
The criterion multiplier launch should have been a DLC behind the real "NFS MOST WANTED". I won't say the game is terrible but its not worth being a full game and on top of that calling itself "most wanted". A game that many die hard "most wanted" fans have been waiting on for years.
NFS UNDERGROUND, MOST WANTED and Carbon was and is still the best EA has produce in the series. Everything else after that sucks and F;'';;ing disappointing. I hope they reading these blogs and learn from there failures and how upsetting they make there fans feel.
This message is for gamespot. i don't understand the single player a.k.a offline.
im used to story in need for speed. but this is not apparently, so how do i evolve or progress through single player mode offline? everything is about multiplayer but so little is about single. not everyone has internet so please let me know before i buy this game. thank you
