Sometimes I think to my self why some developers simply didn't choose engines like these for the games they're making if the one they're using ATM is crap.NoodleFighter
mostly for optimization and customization purposes. Some engines are built specifically for certain genres for the purpose of maximizing all the necessary features that are specific to that genre

There is hardly any information or games announced for it. I see the WiiU ending up a lot like the wii in terms of innovation. Its great to think about the possiblities of a tablet controller (which I particularly do not like), but when games try to capitilize on those possiblities, it ends up holding the system back. I need to see much more at E3 before getting excited. There is also the possibility of one controller per console. These mysterious features about the console is getting in the way of excitement.

The possibilities have already been displayed all througout this generation. The WiiU is basically an oversized DS. And as we have seen with the DS, there are many ways in which multiple screen's are useful. Anybody who's played Metroid Prime Hunters, knows how much better it is to aim with a touchpad than it is to aim with dual analog. Hopefully they take a similar approach with the WiiU

I would never sign such horribly written, un-professional petition.

[QUOTE="DemoPan7"]In other levels, there are many other things than sewers. but okay. Left, right, straight, sea, tentacle, truck, tank, stealth, speed, ledge grabs, sliding, and crappy QTE's. ChubbyGuy40

I listed things that are found in most levels, not what appears in the entire game. Take out left, right, sea, tentacle, truck, tank, speed, and then you have Crysis 2's list.

are you seriously trying to tell me you can't move left or right in Crysis 2? There is 2 tank levels in Crysis 1 and 2 Tank levels in Crysis 2. There are tentacles everywhere in crysis 2. there are multiple levels with trucks as well. The speed in Crysis 2 is better than Crysis if you do it right. And fine, I'll give you sea, but I'll replace it with something much better: Verticality.

[QUOTE="DemoPan7"] Well quite frankly, I don't need to. You've already disproved him by mentioning sewers. Funny thing is, you can't even climb ladders in this game. But just to play your game. For each example you can give of an alternate route in Crysis, I'll provide one for Crysis2. ChubbyGuy40

But those sewers aren't in every level. I remember like....two, at the most. You're proving his point by taking ladders out of the equation. Less ways to manuever.

Why not go with ways to move before comparing routes? Left, right, straight, sea, boat, jeep, transport vehicle, truck, prone, stealth, speed,...ladders. :P

Then please provide us with the different routes of pathing that Crysis 2 has to get to the next objective or just travel in general. The only alternate routes I found were sewers, which were cheap getaways because CELL wouldn't follow you into them.

You lost the argument.....

The intelligence in this post is mind boggling. Good job Einstein.

"Do I take the ladder or the stairs to reach the same place 10 feet away?" That's the extent of options you had basically

Are you trollin or actually being serious? And wow you're level 45, I guess this shows how levels don't mean a thing in this site.

Don't be mad that you can't defend your own statements.

[QUOTE="DemoPan7"][QUOTE="04dcarraher"] At least you had an larger area to explore and change, tactics, paths to take while Crysis 2 your always in a clearly seen linear path or funneled area. Crysis 2 is a rail shooter compared to Crysis 1. wis3boi

Have you even played Crysis 2? There where always multiple paths to take, just on a smaller scale. And it's not a COD clone, if anything it's a Half Life 2 Clone.

[QUOTE="kraken2109"]

Crysis 2 is a COD clone, Crysis isn't. That's why Crysis 2 gets hate. It took away the freedom the first had.

04dcarraher

The problem is the freedom from the first is greatly exagerated, step out of the mission zone and its game over in many situations. It wasnt nearly as open ended as people made it out to be.
