I had games of CIV IV running for weeks continuously on my secondary (vista-public beta 64-bit) machine. I believe I did have to patch the game up to run it, and after a few weeks of testing, I started having 3D artifacts in the windows interface (affected all games, including the ones that came pre-installed) which worsened for a while until i got tired of dealing with it.
