@HesamB: "For ray tracing specifically, the Turing architecture is four times faster than Volta-based workstation GPUs and ten times faster than the current Pascal GTX 10-series--not to be confused with overall performance outside of ray tracing." Even says right there NOT to be confused with overall performance outside of ray tracing. Seems someone can't read.
So it has the same performance as a 1080 except for lighting it's better? If someone is getting a new card ok I could see getting it. But I don't see any reason anyone that already has a 10 series card would pay so much for it. I'm sure some will because "they gotta have the latest and greatest" but outside those few I don't see the desire for it for those already with a 10 series.
@lion2447: "Also, if this supposed warrantly actually existed, then why does Gamestop try to sell you a warranty on a new game, if the warrantly already exists?"
That I can answer easily, they make more money off it. It's like buying a car it comes with a mfg warranty but the car dealership tries to sell you extended warranty, why? It's all pure profit for them.
@greatatemi: No the main war that caused the Fallout in the first placed already happened. You are coming out of a vault after an amount of time living in one. So of course what is going to be the first thing you'd want to do? Go launch more nukes and radiate the whole area again? That is why this makes zero sense. It would just mean back to your vault you go for another 25 years or whatever. It's just dumb.
