@Carpetfluff: Yeah exactly, one is simulation racing the other a more arcade racing. Yes racers can enjoy both but they each have their own preference from the racing community. So while some would draw in others they are as you said NOT really competing against each other so to say.
Now if the new Forza game was Motorsport 8(i think that's what they are on yeah?) then you'd have a more direct competition.
And in reply to it needing online connections, in particular for the SINGLE PLAYER part of it...GO F YOURSELF lol what is the need for single player stuff to need online connections? When will developers realize we don't like it and don't want it and certainly DON'T NEED IT!
