Since I'm pretty much limited to 360 games in this forum, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Seriously 2.0 is an idiotic attempt at being edgy. I had met the requirements for a few achievements in FFXI, but I never got 'em even though I went to a bard to unlock them (FFXI achievements don't unlock automatically, for some odd reason). At least ideas for achievements have mostly improved since 360 launch.

You don't even have to do anything with it; it's only required that you make one. The feature isn't as forced as you would think.

If you're gonna buy Condemned 2, don't play the first one beforehand. The sequel's pretty disappointing in comparison. I'd say about a 2/10 scare factor based on my playthrough. Also, 16 players swinging pipes and shovels at each other online is MUCH better in theory. It's utter chaos online but at least you usually get loads of kills. I entered this 20-minute deathmatch one day with about 10 minutes left, and I still got 80 kills or so. I think 1st place was around 120 kills.

If GS went by the game with the absolute best graphics, then a PC game would win every year. The award would become worthless since everybody would know the winner in a heartbeat. In my short time as a PS3 owner (about a month), I was blown away by the graphics I saw during normal gameplay, not some low-res textures I searched the entire game for just to use in an argument.

Until E3, I'm excited for Resident Evil 5 and Riddick: Dark Athena.

By the way, can anyone tell me why people keep saying Mass Effect 2 is coming out out in 2009 when Bioware's not even working on it yet, let alone announced it? They're finishing up Dragon Age for early (PC) and fall (360,PS3) 2009 releases.

Oblivion and Fallout 3 get my votes. I tried getting into JRPGs this gen, but there's too many annoyances for me. The story's usually great, but the gameplay pisses me off.

L4D is overhyped, but it's a quality game nonetheless.
