@sladakrobot: I bought the Base game for 7.50 back in November of 2018. And slowly i picked up few DLC when they went on sale. As of December 2019, i bought the last pack. Wanted to get it original on PC, but it didn't have controller support, so i decided to get the Xbox One version instead.
@sladakrobot: Base Sims 4 game is maybe fun for a short while. But the game really shines when you have the DLC. I actually bought all the DLC on my Xbox One. And i spend a total of 150 bucks for everything. These however were bought when the DLC went on sale. If you buy them without the discount you're looking at 300.
@angrycreep: They will make a huge mistake. Deep Silver as of now, has been black listen on steam by many users. Steam also have a bigger player base. Even if its a 30% cut, they will potentially sell more copies. Only Greedy Publishers will fall for Epic's scheme.
Ubisoft however, made a smart choice, since they also have their own Game store. And they know the majority of people will just bit the bullet, and get it on Uplay instead. Since its required for all of their games.
