I wouldn't bury UMDs or physical copies yet. I prefer having my games on my shelves, feeling they are part of my personal collection. I won't download digital stuff for as long as I have an alternative. I already forsee that physical copies of games like GTA: Chinatown Wars and Tekken 6 will be collector's items among PSP owners in the future. I'm not saying UMDs are perfect, but I prefer them to files. You can't sell your digital collection, the servers will not always be active. Music downloads have been around for a long time yet people still buy CDs and records. You can also rule out limited and collector's editions in digital distribution. I think digital copies will mostly attract casual gamers, while hardcore collectors will delay the inevitable (is it?) as long as possible.

Unless you're interested in the PSPgo (but surely you can't be interested in the PSPgo, right?) get a PSP 3000 or if you can still find one I'd recommend a PSP 2000. I have a 2000 and I love it. Its one big advantage to 3000 is all those creative homebrew stuff like custom media players allowing you to play much more formats, emulators and there's even an app that allows you to watch flash stuff like youtube videos on your PSP. And don't even begin to come with BS about piracy, I have 23 PSP games and it looks like that collection will expand to 30 by the end of the summer. I don't think your PSP needs 'rest', mine doesn't get much either. :P I think it just gave in. Get a new one, but don't wait for the go!

Tekken has always been an easy game to sink into. If you want to learn effective combos you can do so in Tekken, but if you just want to have some fun you can get a lot out of it even without practice. It definitely is more forgiving to newcomers than a lot of other famous fighting franchises like King of Fighters and Street Fighter.

Luckily I don't have to put up with this problem since I live in Europe, but I do think it was a BS idea from Sony. They keep saying they continue releasing games on UMD (GT Mobile is already confirmed on UMD) but Patapon 2 is not available in the US and now even Unbound Saga will be download-only. This means I'm not getting Unbound Saga. If Sony doesn't need my money, that's fine for me but I only deal with hard copies. Other than that, I'm sure everything is the same in both versions, so import it if you want. It will surely be a collector's item in the US.

Word, man! PSP has always been great at delivering enjoyable Metal Gear games. I liked Acid!, but never played Acid! 2 (I'm gonna get it somewhere and beat it ASAP), but Portable Ops is the big problem here. Nobody likes it. I don't know why, everybody b_tch about the cutscenes, I though they were great and stylish. The gameplay is amazing, the recruit part makes it all the more addictive. I hate it when people complain about it, especially now as the REAL sequel is coming to PSP instead of PS3/X360, next-gen fanboys trash the game before it even gets released.

Portable Ops pwns GOW and Crisis Core, MGS 4EVer!!!

Nice from Atlus. Video Game Soundracks are epic wins, but they are difficult to get where I live. This will totally be a purchase for me.

This is a strange situation right now, because this is about the first time there's a new Metal Gear on the horizon and it's not the game I look forward to the most. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but Gran Turismo and Soulcalibur have never been in handheld form. It's gonna be awesome to take a few hundred cars with me in my pocket, and there will also be room for Mitsurugi and Tira. :P

Crush. Best game on the system.savebattery

It sure is one unique and original son of a gun. I'm a proud owner of one myself.

Other than that, it's fairly obvious. Crisis Core, GOW... No matter how many times this subject comes up there are always the same titles. There's no reason to have thousands of 'best psp gamez' subjects. People will just force on everyone that the greatest graphics + greatest name = greatest game. Until this changes, Crisis Core will always be the one holy miracle of the PSP. No need for innovation or originality when you can have a recognizable name and a slot machine in the upper left.... :|

The PSP 3000 can use all the downloadable content, being able to access the store. And it can also use those UMDs... so if you have a 3000 stick with it, no reason to upgrade for you.

The greatest story was in Chilli Con Carnage. It was so crazy and over-the-top that it was amazing. Other than that, I'd say MGS Portable Ops and Jeanne D'Arc.
